About HanZone Productions
|
|
HanZone Productions was launched in 2007 by classical musicians (and music lovers!) as a voluntary organization with a three-pronged mission to:
- Empower Musicians
We provide serious performance venues for professionally-trained, classical musicians to continue to hone their skills and gain broader exposure. We particularly focus upon working with classical musicians with full-time, non-music related day jobs.
- Empower Charities
We provide turnkey-professional concerts in a concise, accessible format in a relaxed atmosphere. We donate four concerts a year, where all proceeds go to a designated charity. Our musicians also can be retained on a fee basis for other occasions.
- Inspire Audiences
We believe that music has a priceless capacity to heal hearts, comfort souls, and enrich our lives. By combining music and philanthropy, our goal is not only to inspire our audiences culturally, but to also inspire them to think more broadly about their own potential to contribute to their communities.
We welcome the support and participation from musicians, music-lovers, and community organizations. We look forward to hearing from you! Sincerely, Hon-Cheong Chan

Intro: Welcome to HanZone
|
|
I have always wanted to create a virtual space where I can connect with people I have come across in my path. My love of music has propelled me recently to a different stage in life. After meeting Sevan in Fall 2006 over a cup of cappucino and conversation, our collaboration in "life" has flourished...
We decided to start performing piano duet music that we love, with or without an audience.
I hope this is a space where you will find comfort through music that we love. Performing arts only exists in the physical space. These links to our past live performances are one way to capture those moments in life that define us.
Feel free to explore and send us suggestions and feedback. If you are a musician(prof and non-prof alike) we look forward to hearing from you regards future collaboration. If you are a non musican and like to hear any classical music(chamber, orchestral works, piano duo etc.), please write us as well.
With the launch of HanZone and frequent free concerts, I hope we can contribute in our little ways to the world in need.
